This year, RSA achieves the remarkable milestone of 10 years of being in business. The group was founded in 2007 by Directors Mac Provan and Charlotte Croudace, at a time when Syngenta’s Central Toxicology Laboratory was closing. Composed initially of experts from CTL and the wider Syngenta business, the group has evolved over the past decade, maintaining a core of expertise in many aspects of toxicology and Regulatory Affairs, and a focus on Agrochemicals and Chemicals. More recently, the group has expanded it’s repertoire to include Ecotoxicologists and Environmental Fate experts and has added additional Associates with pharmaceuticals experience in the toxicology and drug metabolism areas (formerly of AstraZeneca) to the books. This will continue to be a growth area for RSA moving forward.

This milestone event will be marked at the forthcoming Biennial RSA conference, to be held at Cranage Hall, Cheshire on the subject of “Endocrine Disruption: What does the future hold for safety assessment?” on 31st January – 1st February 2017.
