David’s career as a regulatory toxicologist gives him significant experience across EU-regulated areas including pesticides, biocides, general chemicals and cosmetic products. He provides advice to clients on data completeness, waivers, testing strategies (including non-testing methods), dossier compilation and submission. Post-submission, he regularly supports clients through the preparation of expert statements and high-level representation at EU expert committees, Member States and ECHA.
David has a good understanding of difficult substances including natural substances, UVCBs and metals. He has extensive experience of working with consortia to reach agreement on testing strategies, study design and interpretation, and has toxicology study monitoring expertise including Endocrine Disruption and non-standard mechanistic studies.
Over the last few years, David has been involved in the assessment of ED potential for a large number of pesticide and biocide active substances, and has also provided advice to REACH clients on vulnerability to ED classification.
